Be a PNPA Cadet:
Be one of us. Maging iskolar para sa bayan!

As a member of the PNPA "MASIDTALAK" Class of 2023, I can say it was one hell of a ride.

Why did I choose to enter the Philippine National Police Academy?
Why did I choose to waste my adolescence for four years just so I could join the police force?

It was a childhood dream.

During my elementary school days, I was watching an anime series entitled "Detective Conan," which eventually became one of my favorite movie series. I later found out in high school that this movie was inspired by the novel of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with a fictional character named Sherlock Holmes. This sparked the ambitions of the young me since I was a child of an innovative mind, imaginative in any way, and so curious that I would always want to dissect anything into parts in order to discover how it works. I believed that these were the traits that inspired me to become an investigator one day. My second ambition in life as a child was to be a soldier. In high school, I joined the Citizen's Advancement Training (CAT), and in college, I also joined the ROTC. From the start, I always wanted to become a detective or an investigator because I was determined to uncover the truth and solve mysteries. Due to my double aspiration, when I was faced with a question about which profession I would choose, I simply answered, "It's either I will solve a crime or fight battles."

"Your story may not have such a happy beginning but that doesn't make you who you are, it is the rest of it- Who you choose to be".
